The gameplay is great, however there are a few things keeping the game from 5 stars. First, the amount of monetization, ads, and pop-ups are annoying (but understable enough). Since the game itself is fun, this doesnt bother me too much. What does bother me a bit more, is the fight timer. Recently ive been losing fights because the timer reaches zero, EVEN WHEN I have more health than the enemy, which makes no sense to me. It makes me wonder why there's even a timer in the first place.

I'm writing a second review because I have a lot of things I want to ask you guys to add to the game. Firstly, you need to add a multiplayer mode where you can play with others. Second, please bring back the training dojo like in Shadow Fight 2 so I can practice move sets and combos. Third, please add a leaderboard for the competitive players who play this game. This can also go hand-in-hand with the multiplayer mode I talked about before. And lastly, Please add more stades. Thanks.

If you're looking for a fighting game with inconsistent movement, inconsistent blocking, and an ai that combo you in ways that you're not even able to in the game, then this is for you. hour and hours of grinding day after day, all for it to mean nothing. pay to win equipment system where you're forced to watch tons of ads to gather what is essential to succeed or pay dozens of dollars. adding up to having a slim chance of you winning a few fights before you're reset and make 0 progress.

The game is free and you can complete the acts without investing any money.
For a comfortable game it is not necessary to invest money. In Shades, there are currently no tools in the game to disable ads. We will take this into account in further development.
